FACTORS TO CONSIDER
1. Canopy Size
First and foremost, you will want to measure what you are trying to shade. Is it a large dining table? Is it a single chaise lounge by the pool? Knowing the dimensions of the objects you want to help protect the sun will be your first step in identifying which size umbrella will fit perfect for your space.
If you have a 4ft round table, then you will want 2ft on one side and 2ft on the other size, which gives you a canopy that is a minimum 8ft wide.
